The Comics Experiment: Issue One

Got my act together today and compiled the first issue of TCE. I didn't have all the time in the world, so the cover I designed is pretty rudimentary. However, overall I think it's looking pretty good. We got 7 submissions in total, and i think we can probably draw in a bigger selection next time.When it comes to printing, I recommend printing 'Odd pages only' first, then putting the same paper back in the printer the correct way up and round, and then print 'Even pages only'. Or if you can afford it, go to a place that will print it up for you correctly. The better quality the first print is, the better subsequent photocopies will be. If possible I'd like to avoid that cheap 'liney' effect you get when your printer is running out of black ink. That's what happened to me at first, and I think I'll head to a copy place to get a better first copy done.
